The Deputy National Organizing Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and former House of Representatives member, Hon. Pascal Lord-Michael Adigwe has said that a new Anambra State is about to emerge with PDP playing critical political role towards the political development within that landscape, revealing his joy about the rebirth of the PDP in the State.
Adigwe made the above assertion in the light of the peaceful conduct of the PDP Congress in the State which received overwhelming endorsement of stakeholders in the State like some BoT members in the persons of Iyom Josephine Anenih, Chief Ugochukwu Okeke, Rt. Hon. Chuchu and many others.
These outstanding leaders particularly praised the courage and sagacity displayed by the Congress Committee, thereby expressing optimism and enthusiasm of returning to build the PDP back to its winning ways.
In his message to the newly elected Anambra State PDP Chairman and other officials, the Panel Chairman and Deputy Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai charged them to commence the process of reconciliation and engage in teamwork to engender trust and confidence in the electorate ahead of the next State and federal elections.
Hon. Adigwe served as a key admin, management strategic committee member alongside the Deputy National Treasurer of PDP, Hon. Ndubuisi Eneh as Panel Secretary, Chief Sunday Olaifa and others in the Anambra State PDP Congress, which was adjudged the freest and fairest State Congress Anambra has ever witnessed.
However, Mr. Chidi Chidebe emerged the winner of the keenly contested election that lasted till 6am the next day.
