As the governorship Elections for Edo and On do states draws closer, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed the date for off-cycle governorship. INEC disclosed this on Tuesday in a statement on X, saying the Edo poll will be held on September 21, 2024. Two suspected oil thieves has been apprehended by the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Delta and handed over to the officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC for further prosecution.
