Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, has advocated and urged, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President to stop further collection of life pensions by former governors who are serving as ministers in his administration. This was contained in a letter directed to the President, dated August 19, 2023 and signed by the Organization’s Deputy Director, Kolawole Oluwadare, noting that the collection of life pensions by former governors who now serve as Ministers is forbidden by the Nigerian constitution.
