The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has returned to Nigeria following his medical leave in Germany. The governor embarked on a 21-day leave on June 7 and was expected to return on July 6. His deputy, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been standing in as Acting Governor in his absence. The National Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday upheld the elections that produced two Labour Party candidates, Jesse Okey-Joe Onuakalusi and Olawande George as winners of the Oshodi-Isolo Federal and Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituencies.
