The Catholic Bishop of Warri Diocese, Most Rev. Anthony Ovayero Ewherido, has announced the ordination to the Catholic celibate priesthood of 17 deacons. The Mangu IDP camp in Plateau State have received a boost as a social enterprise organisation, Illuminating Minds, said it trained 67 teachers on trauma-informed classroom care. The Federal Road Safety Corps has apprehended 162,834 traffic offenders nationwide from January to June, 2023, The PUNCH has learnt. The corps spokesperson, Bisi Kazeem, disclosed this to our correspondent on Sunday. According to Kazeem, the traffic offenders were arrested for committing 179,165 offences.
