Speaking to newsmen at the Nest of Champions Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State at the official flag-off of the 2022/23 Presidential Campaigns of  the PDP, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori said that Nigerians cannot afford to return the APC back to power again, hence the PDP was coming on a rescue mission to salvage the bad situation the ruling APC has plunged the country into since 2015.

His action according to the statement, drew suspicion and the operatives went after him, and the suspect on noticing that the Policemen were closing up on him, abandoned the said bag and escaped into a nearby river. But upon searching the bag, one locally made cut-to-size double barrel gun and one locally made short gun were recovered. Efforts are on to arrest the fleeing suspect.
