The Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, has appointed Commodore Aiwuyor Adams-Aliu as the spokesperson for the service. Adams -Aliu who is the son of a former editor with The Daily Times took over from Rear Admiral Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan. A statement on Friday by the Chief of Policy and Plans, Rear Admiral J.D. Delta State Government has pledged to recover all Government lands illegally acquired by land grabbers across the state. The Chairman, State Taskforce on Land Recovery and Outright Demolition Committee, Chief Frank Omare made the pledge at a meeting with occupiers of landed property of the Dennis Osadebay University, Anwai-Asaba at Government House, Asaba.
