Rev. Father Gabriel Ukeh, a Catholic priest of the Catholic Diocese of Kaduna, and Parish Priest of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Zaman Dabo Community, Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, have been abducted by bandits in the early hours of Sunday, June 9, 2024. 
The parish priest was said to have been abducted at the parish rectory in the early hours of Sunday.
Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Kazah, Vicar General disclosed this on Sunday in a press statement released.
He said, “While we solicit for fervent prayers for his urgent and safe release, we equally condemn this act of incessant kidnapping for ransom of innocent and defenceless citizens of our communities, and we call upon the government to brace up its security intelligence as the celebration of Salad approaches.
It could not be confirmed if the bandits have established contacts with the Church,h authority.
