Stressing on the need for knowledgeable, experience person with vast ideas to occupy the seat, Chief Ede maintained, that over the past seven years, Delta Central Senatorial District and Delta State in general have witnessed the great achievements of the Deputy President of the Senate, Chief Barr. Ovie Omo-Agege.

“He offered us effective and quality representation in the hallowed chambers of the Nigerian Senate and raised the bar on legislative representation to a new level”.
He said the gains of the last 7 years are great and visible to all of us in terms of projects, sound legislations and empowerment of Urhobos, and these are legacy achievements that will transform Urbobo land for many years to come, hence the need to build on and improve on that foundation.
Ede also promise that as a senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, he won’t avoid any challenges, and will put Delta Central and Urhobo Nation first in all of his decisions and that at the heart of the challenges, faced as a district and a country is the urgent need for jobs for the people, especially women and youth, as well as insecurity that is threatening their existence.
“I believe that the rising insecurity in Nigeria is a result of rising unemployment, especially among the youth, I promise to eradicate this if given the opportunity to serve as your senator”.
He appealed to delegates to support him during the APC primaries and God willing, if he scales through, they should also vote for him at the general election.
