The lingering boundary dispute between Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh communities in Udu and Warri South West Local Government Areas of Delta State has escalated as several cars, tricycles and properties have been razed down in a clash that occurred on Thursday night.
Hoodlums shot sporadically and indiscriminately in Aladja Community as vehicles cars were burnt in Aladja Community despite heavy presence of security operatives.
It is not however confirmed if cars, tricycles and other properties are also destroyed in Ogbe-Ijoh.
According to DAILY POST, the incident is currently going on at the time of this report.
President of Aladja Community Council, Comrade Shell Okakotu GodFirst accused the soldiers on ground of allegedly beating Aladja indigenes as the crisis is ongoing.
The community leader said,”There are rumour that the Ogbe-Ijoh people may come for another attack early in the morning today, Friday.”
