The Delta State Police Command has released its time table for the screening of Delta Indigene into the force.
In a release signed by the Commands image maker, DSP Bright Edafe, stated that; ” The Delta State Police Command wishes to inform indigenes of Delta State who successfully completed the online registration for the ongoing 2022 recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force as police constables for the Automated Physical/Credentials Screening Exercise.
“This screening is scheduled to hold from January 8, to January 29, 2024, starting at 0700hrs daily”.
The statement urges applicants to visit https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng/ to the recruitment portal to print out their invitation slip and come for their screening on their scheduled date as indicated in the print out.
The venue of the screening exercise is the Cenotaph Parade Ground Asaba at 7am daily.
The statement added that all applicants are to appear in their clean white T-shirt and shorts with the following mandatory basic screening requirements neatly arranged in two white flat files with a recent passport photograph attached:
i. Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized Medical Hospital
ii. Evidence of Good character from Village/District Head of the applicant
iii. Certificate of Origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary
iv. National Identity Number (NIN) – Slip Print-out
v. Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level Result(s), Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
vi. Print-out of application form
vii. Duly completed Guarantor’s form
viii. Invitation slip
The statement strictly warned that any candidate that fails to present the items (i – viii) mentioned in Paragraph 2 above will not be considered for screening. Applicants are equally advised to pay attention to their scheduled date and time, other details, and specific guidelines on the screening exercise.
The Commissioner of Police Delta State Command, CP Wale Abass while wishing applicants the best of luck, also advised them to be wary of online impostors, fraudster and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the recruitment process to swindle innocent applicants. He further assured the public that the entire exercise will be conducted in line with the professional guidelines of the Force; and it is completely free.
