“The current price of diesel at 800 (naira) per litre, production of a kilogramme of fish is N1,400. In order to make very marginal profit, the farmers can’t sell less than N1,500 as anything short of that amounts to outright loss,” said the former president.
She noted that government taxes on daily basis affects their businesses as a result, it has never been beneficial to them.She appealed that government should implement policies that will favourable to business owners but not collecting tax every day from business owners.
“We are not against tax collections, but let it be beneficial to us”.
