The Newly Inaugurated Board of the Delta Trust Mortgage Bank Limited and UIDC Securities, has assured Deltans of effective implementation of the state government MORE Agenda in that institution.
Chairman of the Board, Hon Jude Ogbimi gave the assurance immediately after he was inaugurated alongside other members by the State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori at the Unity Hall Government House, Asaba.
Hon Ogbimi, a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, promised to carry out a lot of reforms in the establishments inline with the Realistic Reforms mantra of the Governor.
He explained that under his watch at the Delta Trust Bank Limited, Deltans, most especially the Civil Servants would get full benefits from the institution.
Ogbimi stated that processing of loans and owning homes before or after retirement would be made easier for those that seek for it.
The former Lawmaker who represented Isoko North Constituency in the Assembly, noted that one of the primary aim of the bank is to ensure that Civil Servants have shelter over their heads after retirement from active service.
He promised to bring his wealth of experiences as a professional Accountant and a former lawmaker to bear in repositioning the bank for optimal growth and service delivery.
Hon Ogbimi assured the Governor of his total commitment to ensuring the highest standards, transparency, accountability and prudence in the discharge of his duties.
He added that all bottleneck hindering accelerated progress in the institution would be a thing of the past.
Ogbimi also thanked the Governor for the confidence reposed on him by appointing him the Chairman of the Board and promised not to let him down.
He expressed optimism that public perception that the bank has not be able to do much in the area of loans for potential homes owners, would be a thing of the past in no distant future.
He appealed for patience and promised to look into challenges faced the institution with a view to resolving all issues.
