Worried by the recent happenings in the Peoples Democratic Party and scared of what may befall on him in the coming days, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has officially defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
His formal defection has put an end to months of speculations and rumour about leaving his party.
Details of his defection are still sketchy, but the Delta State Commissioner for Public Information has confirmed his defection. Hear him; “Ours is like the palm wine that have change taste, and so the drinking pattern has to change also.”
The photographs of Governor Oborevwori in a handshake with President Tinubu and APC National Chairman Ganduje, are currently trending in the cyberspace, and his defection may lead to a reshuffling of power dynamics in the state.
