…Says Ede Dafinone Is The Qualified Man For The Job

Forum of President Generals of the 24 Urhobo kingdoms in Urhobo Nation, has said that only the best Urhobo candidate contesting the 2023 elections must emerge, directing all community and kingdom president generals to stand firm in projecting only the best candidate among contestants.
Speaking on behalf of the Kingdom President Generals, the Chairman of the president generals, Chief Godwin Notoma described the All Progressive Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate of Delta Central Senatorial District, Okakuro Ede Dafinone as one who is eminently qualified to represent the Urhobo people at the Senate.
He said; “You are eminently qualified, it shall be well with you, what you find you shall get, though the campaign has not started. I hereby urge all kingdom President Generals to stand firm ahead of the election because Urhobo will present he who the cap fits.”
Chief Godwin Natoma who also doubles as the President General of the Union of Udu Community Communities (UUC), however, noted that campaigns have not started.
Earlier; the APC Delta Central Senatorial Candidate, Chief Ede Dafinone thanked the entire President Generals of Urhobo Nation for giving him the opportunity to present himself and also seek blessings to clinch the senatorial seat come 2023 general election.
He said; “I believe that I am the best candidate to represent Delta Central and I seek your support and vote to represent the people of Delta Central in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023. I am an internationally recognized accountant from a globally recognized family of chartered accountants, economists, and industrialists with achievements in both the private and public sector with a clear commitment to Environmental, Sustainable and Gender goals”.
He noted that over the last 40 years, he has worked in both the private and public sectors and have significant achievements and successes to date. He added that he believed that his background and experience made him stand out as the best candidate to represent Delta Central in the Senate in the next Senate.
Continuing, Dafinone maintained; that his vision for Urhobo nation is to enable the Urhobo people to create the environment and drive the process of creating an oasis of peace and long-term prosperity and ensure that sound economic opportunities are brought to the district. This he said, will also encourage the education system to ensure that their children can be empowered to make the best out of their lives and seize the opportunities that will arise when the business comes to the district.
Among the kingdom president generals present at the consultative meeting include; Chief G.J Notoma Chairman, Rev Canon David Otoma Vice Chairman, Bright Adjogbe Secretary, Chief Julius Akpodiete Financial Secretary, Chief Daniel Ojo Treasurer, Chief Abovi H Erute Spokesman, Prof Author Ekpekpo Member, Chief Benson O Nadakara, Chief Patrick Esiri, Chief Monday Arawore, Chief Wilson Umukoro, and others.
On his consultative entourage of Chief Ede Dafinone include Chief Godwin Ogbetu, Amb. Frank Efeduma, Former Commissioner of Education, Dr Mrs Veronica Ogbuagu, Chief Cosmos Ighoraye aka baba Dede, Chief Adelabu Bojor, Chief Thursday Onoge, Chief Francis Atanomeyovwin, Mrs Iriri, Chief Moses Ayeni, and Hon.Barr Joseph Oshevire.
Others in the entourage are Chief Julius Okporko, Barr Valentine’s Onojewo, Dr Patrick Akamovba, Chief Godwin Okoloba, Hon Emakpor Edafe, and others.
