The Isoko Christians Political Movement, (ICPM) with formidable structure across 406 Polling Units within the 24 Wards in Isoko North end South LGAs has lauded the member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency at the House of representatives, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko for his peerless achievements and display of respectful Christan political traits in the last one year.
ICPM in a statement by it’s President, Ven. Hon. Augustine Ovie JP, described Ukodhiko as a vibrant and visionary Christian
Lawmaker who is giving effective/impactful representation to the Isoko Nation at the National Assembly.
The statement emphasized Ukodhiko’s proactive approach in addressing the dire needs and
beneficial local issues such as Infrastructure Development, education , health, youths/women/men prosperity
empowerment and other socio economic challenges within the constituency
The statement noted that Ukodhiko has been instrumental in pushing forward legislative agendas aimed at improving the lives of the people he represents.
“We are particularly happy with his motion on the need to compel oil and gas companies to stop gas flaring and convert same to provide 24-hours electricity to Isoko communities and environs.
“Again his Bill for an Act to Amend the Federal Medical Centres Act and Establish the Federal Medical Centre Oleh, Delta State, and for Related Matters; the Bill for an Act to Establish the Federal University of Agriculture, Erawha-Owhe, Delta State, and for Related Matters, the Bill for an Act to Establish College of Entrepreneurship and Skill Acquisition Olomoro and others are heartwarming,” the statement said.
The group also commended Ukodhiko for the constituency projects he has completed, adding that “his humility in accepting constituent’s preferred projects is worthy of praise.”
While extolling Ukodhiko’s qualities of transparency, accountability and
generosity, the statement expressed gratitude to the lawmaker for charitable donations to the needy and the impact of alleviating the hardship in Isoko land
The Christian body acknowledged Ukodhiko’s quest for human capital development and his remembrance of the Christian Community as one and only legislator doing so.
While pledging their commitment to his divine mandate, the group called on Isoko people to rally round the lawmaker to succeed so that he can continue with the good job he has started.
The statement also commended Hon. Christian Iteire and Chief Kome Okpobor for their hospitality to the Christian Group, advising other politicians never to neglect the Christian Community whose intervention in the last election saw them to their various offices.
The Isoko Christians Political Movement request for a slot of Supervory Councilor in both LGAs, affirmative that the group has the mandate to deliver PDP candidates in the forth coming Local Government Election.
