In another round of show of appreciation to his faithful and consistent BELIEVERS, the immediate past member of the Delta State House of Assembly who represented the good people of Ughelli-South State Constituency and current Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), Comrade Reuben R.Y Izeze, has gifted Olorogun Moses Orhokpor (aka Olomu Man) a Toyota Sienna CAR as a reward for his show of love and selflessness during the 2022 Ughelli-South PDP PRIMARIES for the DTHA candidacy.
While presenting the car earlier this morning at the Okpare residence of Olorogun Moses, Izeze who spoke through his Personal Assistant, Engr Stephen E. Dorume recalls the role he played in his life as a father.
In his words, Izeze recalled before the Olomu Chief and said,
“Sir, you were one of the Ad-hoc Delegates during the PDP primaries to elect the party’s candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly position in 2022. I actually approached you like I did to many other delegates. To my greatest surprise, you rejected the usual delegate money offered on our own free will. This was and still very uncommon in our system, sir”.
Izeze went on to add, that “when the D-Day was fast approaching, you called me to request the name that you should write on the ballot slip and I told you, write RUME. Of the two votes I had, your ballot revealed as discussed that you voted for me as there was only one RUME was written and I knew that truly you are a bond keeper”.
Sir, there is no other way to reward such a truthful man such as you and we thought that we should start with this token of a car gift. We had amongst the Delegates, people whom were closer relatives either by blood or friendship, they actually collected our money and went on to break the promises they freely made. Sir, your types are rare in the system that thrives today. We however thank God that there still exist your types and that has kept our faith till date that we shall get it right some day and Nigeria would be better.
In his response, an elated Olorogun Orhokpor recalled how Izeze had before this time was instrumental to the sponsorship of his first son who is now reading for his Post-Graduate in Law in Liverpool. He pointed out that it was Comrade Izeze who singlehandedly funded his son’s studies at the Law School here in Nigeria and he is aware of his role while the son is now in Liverpool.
Olorogun Orhokpor went on to pour prayers on Izeze praying God to keep him safe, strong and vibrant to reap from his good will to mankind. He also prayed for himself to stay longer on earth to eat more from his son, Izeze. Prayers were also said for the Izeze team.
In the company of the Izeze team were Engr Dorume Stephen, Mr Obawharhe N. Gbagbeke, Hon Engr Oloya Faith and Tisha Ejekanshe Matthew
