The final committal to mother earth of Late Olorogun Sir, Taleb Tebite, a former lawmaker and Director of Project, DESOPADEC, until his demised, has been fixed for Thursday, October 24, 2024. According to the family and an invitation from Hon. Ochuko Omorere, JP, his Personal Assistant until his demise, there will be a night of tributes on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Orchid Hot, along DBS road, Asaba.
It further stated that on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, a Service of Songs will hold at his residence on Off High Court Road, GRA, Effurun, while the burial service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the All Saints Anglican Cathedral Ughelli.
The invitation also revealed that internment and reception of guest will commenced at his hometown, Okpare-Olomu, in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
It noted that a Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at St. John Anglican Church, Okpare-Olomu.
Late Taleb Tebite, died at a Lagos hospital on Monday night, August 5, 2024. Until his sudden demised, he was a frontline leader of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Delta state and two term lawmaker in the State House of Assembly. He died while serving as the Executive Director Project in the board of the Delta State Oil Producing And Development Commission DESOPADEC. His demise has been said to be a great loss to both the rich and the poor, both politicians and non politicians especially the Christian community.
