“I am what I am today because of God. I cannot share His glory with any man. They were given a hot chase by the team and fifty-one (51) suspected cultists were arrested, two cut to size locally made guns, one expended cartridge, Eiye Confraternity regalia were recovered.  Suspects have been transferred to the Command Anti-Cult unit (SACU) for investigation, and those found wanting upon completion of investigation, will be charged to court.

In a statement signed by Richard Olatunde, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, read; “The extension is sequel to the resolution of the Southwest Governors’ Forum to observe a 3-day mourning period, starting from Monday, 13th June to Wednesday, 15th June, 2022 across all the Southwest states”.
