He revealed that in the  last traditional rulers council meeting in Asaba, monarchs in the State extensively discussed  the level of insecurity in the country and also resolved that in their next meeting, the vexed issue would top their agenda,  adding that; “And we pray that President Muhammadu Buhari and all the Service Chiefs will live up to their responsibilities”. 
“Just  three days ago, I had a meeting with my council of chiefs at the palace and we questioned the suitability of the National Security Adviser and Minister of Defense because the office of the National Security Adviser is to collate all necessary information from the various military establishments, the various security establishments and so if that is being done as expected, then why these frequent attacks, why these unwarranted and unprovoked killings taking place in the Northern region, Kaduna State, Niger State and Zamfara State. 

To drive home their points,  as  early as 8:00am Tuesday, the sewage Operators in Udu, near Warri and it’s environs gathered at the gate of Udu Local Government Council Secretariat to protest what they termed illegal levy of #5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) daily by Udu local Government and halted operations at the council secretariat. 

The women in a peaceful protest yesterday, displayed various  placards with inscriptions such as, Igbide community condemn ‘Pipeline vandalization/bunkering activities’, ‘Enough is Enough, We cannot continue with this anymore’, ‘Stop the air pollution’, ‘Stop the shooting’, ‘Make the environment safe for all’  amongst others, the women vow to shut down oil exploration at the expiration of the ultimatum issued by the community leadership.

“Her colleagues were waiting for her outside as they were looking for customers but they didn’t see her. They now went to knock at her door and it was when they opened the the door that they found her dead in her room,” a source who craved anonymity, said

At 70, you have not relented in your service to God and humanity and I salute your steadfastness and courage. As you celebrate this milestone today, my prayer is that Almighty God will grant you longer life, good health and more wisdom to serve God, the state and the nation. The group in a statement signed by its National Chairman who doubles as the Owelle 1 of Onicha-Olona, Chief Jerry Nkeweshe, and issued in Asaba, the Delta State capital, noted that, Senator Omo-Agege has lived up to the expectations of the good people of Delta State, particularly his Delta Central Senatorial District and for that, God is happy with him. The group maintained that he will live a long and prosperous life with sound health condition to continue to add positive values to humanity.
