Sues For Calm Amongst Deltans

Immediate past director general of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Campaign Council in Delta State, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, has said the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and the immediate past governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa mean well for Deltans.
Funkekeme gave the assurance while debunking the rumuor making rounds that the immediate past governor and the present governor are at a dagger head. He said there is no disagreement nor confusion between Delta State Governor and his predecessor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
He however expressed worries over reports flying from some quarters of the media after about 30 days in office, urging Deltans to disregard such reports as both leaders are in cordial relations and also meant well for all Deltans.
He appealed to Deltans to be calm and eschew any acts that may breed discontent among Deltans and non- Deltans residentin the state. The DG condemned any form of attack on the state governor, stating that as the Director General of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Campaign Council, is duty bound to defend the Governor.
The former Deputy Speaker commended Governor Oborevwori for his bold steps and leadership prowess displayed so far. He maintained that it is a sign of his competence and preparedness to deliver his MORE agenda across board.
He called on all Deltans to join hands and support the Oborevwori administration, adding that the new government of Oborevwori
will never give up until all Deltans benefit from the M.O.R.E agenda
