The Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly and member representing Aniocha North Constituency, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi has said that economic invigoration fueled by the hospitality industry is necessary to advance tourism and earn revenue to the State.
He made this assertion while speaking to newsmen during the official opening of Nocy Castle, a hospitality business located at Marble Hill area of Okpanam in Oshimili North LGA of Delta State.
Hon. Nwaobi who congratulated the illustrious diasporan based Onicha-Olona son and entrepreneur of repute, said it was thoughtful of him to have repatriated fund to build such a massive hospitality facility, capable of creating job for the teeming unemployed youths and attracting revenue for the State.
The Majority Leader affirmed that Government has no choice but to encourage business initiatives with the intention to create economic viability, by providing enabling environment for them to thrive.
As a matter of advice, the dynamic lawmaker called on well-to-do indigenes of Aniocha North who reside abroad, to do their hustling and come back home to invest, rather than keep complaining of a non working Nigerian environment.
He said, “Home is home. We must all encourage investments targeted at taking our youths off the streets, as well as supporting families economically.
“Businesses like this are of utmost economic benefit to Government and society at large. Therefore, there is no reason why Government should not support these kind of initiatives when the means is there.
“My brother, you have done noble, and this is a show of patriotism to your fatherland. Keep up the good work, it is my prayer that God continues to uplift you and grant you the wherewithal to sustain this business initiative”, Nwaobi stated.
The CEO of Nocy Castle, Mr. Anthony Chukwuka appreciated God for the grace to go through the project which he envisioned some years back.
He narrated the story of his 25 years in South Africa where God had divinely blessed his enterprise in Real Estate, adding that it has been awesome experience by God’s divine grace.
He said he was inspired to come back home and invest, in order to create job for the teeming unemployed youths with no hope of survival.
Mr. Chukwuka appreciated Hon. Nwaobi for his leadership and brotherly disposition, maintaining that he was marvelled at his simplicity in accepting to come and officially declare the facility open without any formality.
As a loving husband who understands and appreciates the supportive role of his spouse, Mr. Chukwuka equally adorned his beautiful wife, Mrs. Yoko Chukwuka for her sterling and pragmatic encouragements that have not only pushed him to limelight, but have helped to stable both his family and businesses successfully.
Describing the exquisitely built Nocy Castle, he said, “This is your second home, where you can come and relax. We have tried our best to create comfort outside home, for the purposes of helping people unwind and ease off stress.
“We promise not to disappoint our esteemed customers. We are by this official opening, calling on all well meaning Deltans and prospective customers to patronise us and earn an experience they can never regret.
“We are not unmindful that Government of Delta State has done so much around here, in terms of road infrastructure. However, without sounding insensitive, we are appealing that whatever Government can still do for us in terms of road on this street, we will be grateful and appreciative of that. Thank you and God bless you”, the young and dynamic CEO said.
The prayer of dedication of the brand new leisure home – Nocy Castle was said by the presiding Catholic Priest, Monsignor M.U. Eze, backed up by Rev. Fr. Francis Okafor.
