Ahead of the inauguration of the Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency Forum of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday, March 22, 2025, Comrade Omorere Ochuko JP, has congratulated Olorogun John Oguma, the leadership and organizers of the forum as well as the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, stating that its a right step towards a right direction for the party.
Comrade Omorere, who is the Secretary of the PDP Youth Force For Sheriff- Ughelli-Udu Federal Constituency, said it is a welcome development to have such a forum which he said will foster unity of purpose, stronger grassroot ties and create more awareness of the party amongst the people.
“It is a welcome development for us to have the three local governments of Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu PDP coming together in one voice, unity and strong political views.I have no doubts in my mind that the 2027 elections in Delta State is going to be a work over for the Peoples Democratic Party.
“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate and thanked our leaders in these three local government areas for their proactive vision of having a formidable forum such as these which is geared towards strengthening the political engagements and also providing a platform through which issues affecting the progress and development of the areas will be discussed.
” I must also congratulate and thanked the state governor for his total commitment to the development of the state. His infrastructure development embedded in the MORE agenda has made so many things easy for the party, and I assume you that come 2027, even the opposition will have no choice but to cast their vote for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. “
Omorere added, that the event which is scheduled to commence at 10am and hold at the Oharisi Primary School field, Ughelli, is expected to reaffirmed the political templates of the PDP within the constituency and provide a platform for stakeholders to take decisive actions on issues regarding the advancement of the party.
Comrade Omorere who is also the Secretary of PDP Effurn-Otor Ward in Ughelli South Local Government Area, called on individuals from the local government particularly PDP members, to attend the event.
