The Executive of National Union of Izon-Ibe Students Worldwide (2003/2004 Session), has felicitated their then President, Chief (Dr) Dennis Otuaro on his appointment as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
The Union in a statement signed by Kennedy Oyakumagbegha, former National Secretary, Vincent Nadifa Esq, former National Assistant Secretary and Samson Opuakpo, former Provost, described the appointment as well deserved.
The 2003-2004 Executive of the all Ijaw Ethnic Students’ Association, stated that Chief Otuaro far back in their undergraduate days as Student Leader, exhibited so much exemplary leadership qualities and was a strong voice in the agitation for the development of the Niger Delta.
While congratulating their former National President for his appointment as the Administrator of the Amnesty Programme, the then Union leaders urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment.
They thanked Mr President, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu for finding one of their own worthy to serve in his administration, even as they assured the new PAP Administrator of support to succeed in the task ahead.
