“I always feel bad whenever I thought of it because this has deprived so many children of continuing their academic pursuit and in my little way, I have decided to support and encourage children because they are the foundation of any great nation and as well encourage the teachers for the sacrifices the make daily without commensurable remuneration.”
He urged the pupils to take their studies seriously and appeal to them to make good use of the books and other learning materials given to them, adding that the learning materials are some of the obstacles and problems hindering children educational career, and that by the grace of God, they have gotten such and must ensure that they maintain everything that is given to them.
He also admonished the teachers on their role in building a stronger nation by giving quality education to the pupils in primary schools, noting that Primary education was not the only foundation for human capital development but national progress.
