In his words; “Warri is going down, but PDP don’t know the way for development, they have no brains and don’t have the vision and know the road to prosperity. We know the way, go to Lagos and see development and progress

Speaking during the campaign visit to the five Wards, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori, who is also the National Deputy Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, said the poverty rate in the Country between 2019 to 2022 had risen to 23 percent which showed the failure of the APC Government at the Federal level in the Country.
He explained that “the promotion of poverty by the APC-led Federal Government is the cause of insecurity. The unemployment rate had risen, and almost all industries are dead. Even Federal roads that were constantly maintained by FERMA during the PDP-led Federal Government between 1999 to 2015 have stopped.
He said that it was numb for the DSP to have made allusions of a third term agenda by Governor Okowa, and described it as mischievous propagation by the APC governorship candidate.
“We have watched Omo-Agege boasting about terminating Okowa’s Vice-Presidential ambition and also accusing him of having a third term agenda
On the backwardness of the state in terms of development, Omo-Agege decried the poor leadership system of the Delta State Governor whom he described as incompetent, noting that while other States in the Niger Delta and elsewhere are celebrating shiny milestones in infrastructural development, human capacity development, healthcare, education, sustainable economic development, good governance, and improved institutions, the people of Delta State are shell-shocked; benumbed by the sheer audacity of Okowa and his co-travellers as they daily bring the state to its knees. Even sadder is fact that the governor has been going around borrowing with reckless abandon, making the State one of the most indebted in Nigeria even with its monumental FAAC allocation and 13% derivation revenue as an oil producing State.
According to him, 2,500 Artisans have so far been empowered for year 2022, emphasising that the number was doubled for next year because of the determined effort of his administration to kick poverty and unemployment out of the state
“APC have credible candidate that will deliver for their people, we are going there to work for the people. We have five candidates that will be voted for. Delta State has been ruled by opposition for too many years but we are coming to say this is how it should be done in Delta State”. he said.
According to him, “information reaching us indicates that the Warri South local government council Chairman, Dr Michael Tidi, has given an order closing routes leading to the Warri Township Stadium with effect from Monday, November 14 through Monday, November 28.
On the Muslim/Muslim tickets, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori said that; “Delta State is not in support of the Muslim/Muslim tickets of the APC and our people should vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for President and Vice-President respectively. They will rescue our Country from APC that has collapsed our Country. Politics is not a do-or-die affair. God gives power. We are the winning team and you do not change a winning team. Please, vote for us, vote for PDP all-the-way
Deputy State Chairman of the party, Val Arenyeka urged the people to send the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC packing at Aso Villa, adding that they have continued to impoverish Nigerians with their failed economic policies, insecurity, and mismanagement of the nation’s cherished diversity.
According to him; “I am a Pan Deltan, a unifier, and a man with excessive local content. I am determined to take the ongoing ward-to-Ward campaigns to the 270 Wards in the State. I want to connect with all Deltans in the 270 Wards and at the end of it, the campaigns will be taken to the Local Government Headquarters. Am coming to serve Deltans and so there must be a connection between me and the people”.
