Prince Olorogun Sir Elvis Oharisi (JP), ‘The Eni R’ Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom’, has appealed to the youth of Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, to shun violence and focus on meaningful pursuits as the ember months approaches.
Speaking to journalists at his country home in Otovwodo-Ughelli, Oharisi, who doubled as Chief of Staff to the Ughelli North Local Government Chairman, Jaro Egbo, warned against the dangers of cultism, armed robbery, drug abuse, and kidnapping.
He encouraged the youth to channel their energy into productive activities that is channeled towards peace and love, adding that peace and stability are crucial to the development of Ughelli North and Delta State.
Prince Oharisi, urged young people to embrace education, skill acquisitions, and entrepreneurship, stating, “There are opportunities for those who are determined to work hard and stay focused on positive goals.”
He called on parents, community leaders, and stakeholders to guide the youth toward making better life choices and becoming ambassadors of peace.
