In what residents described as dishonourable choleric temperament, a sitting local government council chairman, Barr. Jaro Egbo, has allegedly increased the numbers of people slapped by him as he recently slapped his old Secondary School mate at Ughelli market, Delta State.
The council chairman Egbo, allegedly slapped the Secondary School mate during the last sanitation exercise in the state for reasons yet to be ascertained.
Though, details of the incident remains sketchy, but reliable source disclosed that the slapped victim, known as Mr Andrew Ikeke was a former Senior Prefect of Otovwodo Grammar School were the chairman is an old student.
The chairman who is often proud of his academic qualifications and his area of discipline has an irritating character that is hated by the public and members of his political party, the PDP.
An old student of the institution who spoke on anonymous condition alleged that, Mr Andrew a Manger in one of the companies in one of the popular markets in Delta State was slapped recently during the November sanitation exercise.
The Chairman had previously slapped, a House of Assembly Member, a serving Councilor, prominent politicians and recently a chieftain of his political party during a town hall meeting organised by the Senior Political Adviser to the governor.
It was reported that Old Students of the institution have waded into the matter, but reasons for the consistent slap by the chairman has being attributed to his choleric temperament.
