… Describes Lawmaker’s Achievements So Far As Legendary
By SouthernVoicenews,
A group under the aegis of the New Face Of Delta (NFOD23) has congratulated the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, on his 59th birthday anniversary, describing the lawmaker’s achievements at the Red Chambers as legendary in the annals of representation from the Niger Delta region.
The group in a statement signed by its National Chairman who doubles as the Owelle 1 of Onicha-Olona, Chief Jerry Nkeweshe, and issued in Asaba, the Delta State capital, noted that, Senator Omo-Agege has lived up to the expectations of the good people of Delta State, particularly his Delta Central Senatorial District and for that, God is happy with him. The group maintained that he will live a long and prosperous life with sound health condition to continue to add positive values to humanity.
Born on August 3, 1963, the Urhobo-born legislator clocks 59 years on August 3, 2022.
“On behalf of the entire members of the New Face Of Delta (NFOD23) group, we wish our amiable, dynamic & distinguished Senator, Olorogun Ovie Omo-Agege a long and prosperous life in the land of the living and in superlative health condition.
“The voice of the people is the voice of God and that is why we are rejoicing with the man of the people, our incoming governor at 59. We join the entire world to celebrate this great man whom God has blessed with a creative sense for purposeful and visionary leadership.
“What else can we ask of God for a man whose giant strides have brought enormous dividends of democracy to his people, including over five federal institutions to Delta State other than to ask God to protect and give him a glorious long life?
“This is a man who has taken it upon himself to work round the clock to light up the entire Delta Central Senatorial District and environs in his bid to end age-long darkness in our land. That is why we are praying God to guide and lead him to more successes while uplifting him to a greater height in life.
“These we ask because he deserves the prayers of the people of Delta and beyond”, Nkeweshe noted.
The group further noted that the ‘Obarisi’ of Urhobo-land is a God-sent to uplift humanity and integrate Deltans into the progressive agenda of the Nigerian State for all inclusive capacity building and development.
Speaking specifically on the agenda of the group towards the actualisation of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege’s 2023 Governorship mandate, Owelle stressed that, “The New Face Of Delta (NFOD23) is a pan Delta Socio-political pressure group to whom the Delta interest is number one before any other.
According to him, “The group stands in-between the government and the people of Delta”, noting that they can never be compromised under any guise while maintaining that “whoever stands for the interest of our dear Delta State and her people in the world is automatically a member of the organisation. Therefore, on this premise, DSP Omo-Agege is a bonafide member of our group because, he had shown enough proof that he loves Delta and her people.”
Chief Jerry Nkeweshe again said that, “Words are not enough for us to take advantage of the 59th birthday anniversary of the Deputy Senate President to tell the world how he has done so much to uplift humanity. We celebrate him today and ask God to enlarge his coast for his best is yet to come.
“At 59, Ovie Omo-Agege is just starting to gather laurels of excellence and we ask the Almighty that makes heroes out of mortal men to uplift him above his contemporaries,” noted NFOD23 chairman.
