Renowned preacher, Televangelist and Member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, has defeated his rivals to clinched his mandate of going back to the National Assembly.
The Christian cleric cum lawmaker under the platform of All Progressives Congress APC, polled 42,226 votes to defeat his closest contender of the Labour Party, who garnered 20,304 votes.
In a tweet released few minutes ago, Waive, stated: “INEC has declared me winner of the 2023 elections to the House of Representatives. Thanks to God Almighty to whom power ultimately belongs and the good people of Ughelli North Ughelli South Udu Federal Constituency APC 42,226 APGA 3,934 LP 20,304 PDP 32,391.”
