…Vow to mobilise massive votes

The support base of the Delta South Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, in the forthcoming general election come 2023. has received a boost as the Isoko Political Revolutionary Force (IPRF) declared total support for his ambition.
In a statement released by the group led by Comrade Chief Austin Ejabulor, Mr Ezimano Azagba, Mr Chris Akwenuke and Chief Geoffrey Okeh, after an enlarged meeting at Taase Hotel, Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, indicated the group preparedness to mobilise massive votes within and outside Isoko Nation for the APC candidate
“We wish to state that we are a group of individuals that have come together to declare our support while mobilising massively for Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas to ensure he wins the Delta South Senatorial District election,” IPRF said in the enlarged meeting.
According to the group, Delta South Senatorial District will be in safe hands with the experienced Harvard-trained business mogul, who has held several positions at local, state and federal government levels.
They stressed that his experience, capacity and credibility can never be challenged by any aspirant from the senatorial district.
They noted that, “As Chairman of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue (DBIR), he was able to increase internally generated revenue from 1.2 billion to over 5 billion monthly.
“JOT as he is fondly called, led a resounding campaign on human capital and infrastructural development across the entire state when he was in situ at DBIR,” the group added.
The socio-political group also noted that with the emergence of Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, they are no longer in search of a credible candidate because in him, all the virtues needed in a worthy leader are found.
They further described him as a worthy son of Isoko Nation, Delta State and Nigeria, adding that IPRF have unwavering confidence in his ambition to provide sterling representation at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly for the people of the senatorial district.
